5 easy and kid-friendly mocktails

After hearing "mommy I'm bored" for about the seventh time in one day, I knew I had to get creative. So I managed to pull together some random ingredients in the kitchen, and add a few to my weekly grocery list. It was an easy, engaging, and refreshing way to keep my daughter busy, while also teaching her about measurements and mixing. Enjoy! :)





Sparkling Peach punch 



Instructions

Add

1 cup of purée

1 cup of frozen peaches 

1 cup of water 

4 cups of ice if blending

Then blend or freeze

Pour in cup half way then add a splash of sprite or ginger ale

Serve with fresh or frozen peaches for fun


Ingredients

1 cup of purée

1 cup of frozen peaches 

1 cup of water 

Sprite or Gingerale

ice


 




Watermelon breeze 


Instructions

Blend 4 cups of ice 

1-2 cup of watermelon 

2 cups of water

1/3 of simple syrup - could also be raspberry syrup

Add frozen cubed watermelon chunks as "ice cubes" for fun


Ingredients

fresh cut watermelon

simple syrup

water

ice





Pineapple splash 

Instructions

Mix all of the following and shake well

Pineapple juice 2 cups 

Orange juice 2 cups 

1 cup of cranberry 

Sprite or 7 up 2 cups 

Then....

Add a Splash of Grenadine 

Add a cherry or orange slices 


Ingredients

pineapple juice

orange juice

cranberry juice

sprite or 7 up

grenadine





Easy berry breezy lemonade


Instructions

Add to blender

4 cups of of the powdered country time pink lemonade

Frozen strawberries 1/3 cup

1/3 cup of simple syrup 

4 cups of ice

2 cups of water

Serve and ...

Add fresh lemon slices in or on the side





Ingredients

4 cups of ice 

2 cups of water 

4 cups of country time pink lemonade mix 

1/3 cup of simple syrup 

frozen strawberries

lemon slices





Sunny sangria 

Instructions

Add the following ingredients together, shake well, and serve with mixed fresh fruit

2 cups of orange juice 

1 cup of white grape juice 

1 cup of cranberry juice 

1/2 cup of water 

Add fresh sliced fruit- strawberries, orange slices, peaches, pineapples raspberries


Ingredients

orange juice

white grape juice

cranberry juice

water

fresh fruit



About an hour later, you've got a messy kitchen and some happy kids!!!






Note-* most of these instructions serve about 3-4 of the small clear cups pictured.

*The following ingredients can be found at a liquor store, if not found at your local grocery store.

*Soda is not essential for any of these drinks. You can just use water as a healthier option. Add or take away ingredients as you see fit. :)
